Overview Trovelo is a travel planning app designed with privacy at its core. We do not collect, store, or share any of your personal data on Trovelo servers.

Data Storage All information you enter in Trovelo is stored on your device and, if you are signed into iCloud, synced privately through your personal iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit. Your data is never stored on Trovelo servers — it belongs to you.

No Data Collection Trovelo does not collect any personal information. Specifically:

• We do not collect your name, email, or any identifying information
• We do not use analytics or crash reporting tools
• We do not use advertising or third-party tracking
• We do not have Trovelo servers or databases that store your information
• We do not share any data with third parties

Third-Party Services Trovelo uses the following external services:

• Apple CloudKit — used to sync your trips across your Apple devices via your private iCloud account. Governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
• MapKit — used to search for places when planning trips. Searches are processed by Apple Maps. Governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
• Pexels — used to fetch cover photos for trips and cards based on destination or place name. Only the search term (e.g. "Tokyo") is sent to Pexels. No personal data is transmitted. Governed by Pexels' Privacy Policy.
• Open-Meteo — used to display weather forecasts. Only your trip's city name is sent. Open-Meteo is a free, open-source weather API that does not store personal data.
• iTunes Search API — used to check for app updates. No personal data is transmitted.

Location Data Your device location is used only on-device to show your position on the map and improve place search results. It is never stored, never shared, and never transmitted to Trovelo or any third party.

Data Deletion You can delete all Trovelo data at any time by deleting the app. Your iCloud data can be deleted from Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Manage Storage. No data remains on Trovelo servers because none was ever sent.

Children's Privacy Trovelo does not collect any data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy If we update this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
